Now i got him in trade i checked his vita...he is surprisingly underrated as hell... David Lee was named to the All-Star game 2010 and had sensational stats:
20,5 points a game, 11,7 rebounds (!!!) a whopping 54,5% FG and surprisingly high 3,6 assists a game, while shooting over 81% from the line.
Although he is whiter than white is he a terrific athlete. High riser that loves to dunk with authority. Extremely quick and mobile in the post. Possesses a nice array of post moves, great footwork, Ambidextrous, meaning he can dribble and finish equally well with both his left and right hands. While he has improved his outside shoot and defensea lot, he is the second best rebounder (after Howard) in the league.
now rated: 80 weaker player but rated higher than him: Garnett 83, Rash Lewis 84, VInce Carter 86, Hamilton 84 just to name a few... suggested rating: 84-85 can be compared to: Al Jefferson 85 (17points 9 rebs) and Boozer 84(19 points 11 boards)

This reminds me of your Jose Calderon thread in D5, when you put him above Rondo right after acquiring him I'd like to wait and see how Lee does in Golden State and becomes forgotten whilst not playing for a big market team. Even Sedale Threatt and Cedric Ceballos could be superstars by playing for the Lakers ;D

Lol you are such a weasel. You made a point of mentioning Lee is just 4 points better than Conley knowing full well you would post him here right away. Makes no difference since Curry is gone and I am jumping aboard the free agency train but I just figured I would point it out. Lee does deserve a boost though but only to like 82-83, the guy has the same effectiveness as a pylon on defence and like Ian said things could change with the Warriors.

David Lee's rating is fine where it is. He's a huge liability on defense and his isn't too skilled on offense. Imo he's a glorified rebounder because he played for New York.

Actually he is a more than solid defensive player due to his athleticism and effort level...you are speaking like Lee is a role player...we are speaking of a young All Star with 20-11,7-3,6-55%FG stats!!! players like kirilenko 81 or hamilton 84, lewis 84 are ranking much higher than Lee...so he deserves at least a 84

I agree he's fine with where he's at. No way he should be 85 IMO. The guys numbers are wildly inflated playing for the Knicks.

Lee had one good season. . . for the Knicks. . . in the East. One all-star appearance is nothing these days, Mo Williams proved that last year when he made it because the coach and his teammates kept complaining. Lee is not that good, a third option on a championship team at best. And this is coming from an actual Warriors fan.

I can see Lee playing with if not the same stats then close to them as Golden State system is also very offensive like the Knicks. Will be interested to see what happens next season.

Just bump him to a 83. 85 is too high for him. A lot of people seem to be underrated Lee though

I think he should be an 81 or 82. He is good, but he isn't dominant. Big men are always rated lower than guards for some reason. Bumping him to an 85 is putting him close to guys like Carlos Boozer and Al Jefferson, when in reality he should be closer to guys like Zach Randolph

Zach Randolph is still a stretch IMO, his offensive skills aren't that polished and got most of his points off second chances, etc.
