I accept. I get a shooting guard so that I can move Durant to the small forward position. His natural position, instead of the shooting guard. I think that this can help bring a defensive presence to my team. I will also gain a 6th man. Something my team does not really have right now. I plan on starting Prince at the powerforward, going with almost a smaller lineup. I give up my 1st in '11, but I think the team that I am forming, even though we're off to a 0-2 start, that I can make a pretty decent seed in the playoff, maybe 5 or so. This adds veteran help, and hopefully with the veteran team paired with Durant and Gasol, the youngun's can make a good balance and good team.

I accept.
Prince and Hamilton have both worn out their welcome in Detroit, and I am more than happy to see them leave. This trade also gets me a solid post scoring threat, which you need to win in the NBA, in Randolph, who averaged 20 and 11 last season. Plus I get Brewer, good back-up defensive player, Young, a great up and coming player who averaged 10 PPG last year off the bench for MEM, Collison, who is a great rebounder and will probably be my starting center for the time being, and then I get a 2011 First Rounder, which I can hopefully parlay into another piece for my rebuilding process.

What will Detroit's lineup look like after this?

Collison - Randolph - Jerbebko - Gordon - Stuckey
Remember, I'm rebuilding, and I'm not done trading just yet

I like it when the TC put comments on their acceptances. It just helps me to know what they think of the trade, if it was good or bad, and also what else needs to happen afterwards as far as trades.

I can't speak for anyone else but I put a comment unless it is pointless to do so (like, Mr. 12th Man for Mr. D-league Call Up) or when I don't really know what to make of the trade. That is this one, it isn't rejectable but I am not sure what to think of it.

I appreciate you New York, for what you had to say on that matter. Thanks.

For my trade analysis, I think Memphis wins value-wise. However, this trade is good for both teams. Detroit gets some frontcourt help that he desperately needs, but I'm not sure that Randolph is his long-term solution. Ronnie Brewer and the 1st rounder are also great pickups for Detroit. Memphis gets the better player value as I stated earlier, but his frontcourt is left looking a little weak, so I would probably expect some more trades to come from him in order to get some help for Gasol... I'm not sure playing Prince at PF is a great idea
