82 OJ Mayo - $4,165,560 - $4,456,200 - $5,632,637 - $7,390,019[/b]
for
75 Jonny Flynn - $2,969,280 - $3,192,000 - $3,414,720 - $4,329,865 - $5,776,040[/b] 2012 1st
I accept:
I will miss OJ, but I get... a better contract with this good rookie who should fit in GREAT with Harden and Thabeet. I need a starting PG. That 2012 1st could be good, you never know, but it's like the Lakers adding Artest... well maybe not, but still it's gonna help in the future.

If the pick were for 2010 then I could accept because even though Mayo is just 22 and going into his 3rd year I think he has reached his peak. He already plays 38 MPG and his team is getting better. He will probably have a 20 PPG season here and there but I don't think he will have any major improvement in his future. A 2012 1st holds very little value and nowhere near enough to close the gap between OJ and Flynn. So I reject.

I reject also. OJ has the potential to be something special, he's already a very good player. Flynn is a solid role player but I don't see him becoming anything more than that.

Mayo is good, but he isn't great. Point guards are also a lot harder to come by than wing players... and next year at this time, we may be saying that Johnny Flynn is much better than Mayo.
OKC could probably get more for Mayo, but he needs a PG and wants to do this trade, so I'll accept

I will accept too. Mayo is solid, but hasn't been as great as he's portrayed. Flynn is still an unknown, but one with a fair degree of upside.
OKC has Harden at SG, and this balances their roster further. And Minnesota now has a solid offensive wing to pair with Love and Lopez.

I reject Wing players are much harder to come by than point guards. Point guards are a dime a dozen in the NBA these days.

Not saying that I disagree with you rejecting the trade, but do you seriously think shooting guards are harder to come by than point guards? There are like 10 good PGs in the league, and like 40 good SGs

*Just a reminder, I have Harden, and Lee is doing good as a SF, all I need is a starting PG, but I won't argue.
