I accept this trade. I think get a good shooting guard in Redd. Then two guys that will look pretty good coming off the bench, Stackhouse and Thomas. I think that Redd just had a bad year last year. I know that he probably has had his role lessened with the year Salmons had last year. But who's saying that Salmons can do that again. If Redd can get back into playing, he behind Ray Ray out in Boston, has one of THE nicest shots in the game. I think that will help Durant out a lot. Durant drawing the double teams and passing back out for the open 3. My bench is not very good at all. The addition of Stackhouse and Thomas should help that area, adding veterans at both guard and forward. I lose Brewer and Young. Two young guys, that very well could develope. Brewer is an Arkie, so it was really hard to let him go.

I really like Brewer and it was the reason I wanted to trade with Memphis to begin with. I like how Sam Young has managed to find his feet in the NBA so far. I lose some ratings point but gain some valuable youth, and maybe trading pieces.
Brewer will provide good defense from the 2 spot and Krstic, Young and Arthur can come off the bench.
BTW I accept.

If you didn't know yet, the chance of Redd playing this year is very slim. Even if he's healthy, the Milwaukee will probably try to avoid playing him as if he don't play certain amount of time (don't know how much it was), his contract will be 80% payed by insurance.
Just a FYI.

This puts Memphis over the cap, and because the Grizzlies incoming salaries exceed 125% of their outgoing, this trade cannot be completed as is.
This will only work if Memphis includes another 3,185,169, because at that point the team will be under the cap and the 125% rule will not apply.
