Total: $8,472,840
for
Nets Receive: 81 Luol Deng - $10,365,000 - $11,345,000 - $12,325,000 - $13,365,000 - $14,275,000
Total: $10,365,000
I accept, why do I do this? I lose Deng's long contract, gain over 9 million in cap space for the upcoming free agency and get Williams who might not be the greatest but is an up and coming youngster. This trade might jeopardize my team on making the playoffs, but I'm not looking on winning this year.

Not to be a dick since Ian would have said this, but CHI you gotta release three players to do this: NOW 16 - THEN 18 THE MORE YOU KNOW

I don't think this is a good trade for Chicago, but if they want to make this trade happen, I accept.

This isn't the best trade for me, I admit that. But after this season my only players left on contract will be Rose, Noah, Williams, Johnson, Gibson and Douglas. Their total salaries will be around 11 million and hopefully I can entice a couple of free agents to come over. Also hopefully I can get a decent pick in the next draft.

I never really understand these types of deals. Deng is definitely not a bad contract, so you dump him get 9 million and spend it on someone who will probably be worse than Deng, why don't you just keep him? You already have more than enough money to make a max deal and then some. Going into free agency with bare cupboards is a very bad idea to me. I guess if you just had Rose and Noah though you couldn't really call it bare cupboards. It still seems like alot of unnecessary movement to go sideways at best. I still accept though.

I can see where you are going with this Willis, I just want to go into the off-season like this. I have never done this before and want to see if it will work. I might regret doing this in the future or I might not, I'm willing to take the chance.

Willis is right though, the chances you'll get someone who is as good as Deng for less money are roughly 50/50. Why take the gamble?

I feel like you guys are disregarding the fact that he is picking up Terrence Williams, who judging by last year and the summer league is going to be a stud

Terrence does show incredible potential, I'd say his cieling is higher than Deng's, but anyway, I'm not going to revise my verdict. I accept.
Trade Finalized.
